Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join our team in Kozhikode. The ideal candidate will work on building and maintaining scalable backend systems using PHP CodeIgniter or Laravel, integrating with front-end interfaces, and participating in the entire software development lifecycle.


The key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing robust, scalable, and secure backend systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate backend systems with front-end interfaces
  • Participating in code reviews and ensuring high-quality code standards
  • Troubleshooting and debugging complex technical issues

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Strong proficiency in PHP (Laravel frameworks)
  • Experience in Back-End Web Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Familiarity with Front-End Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Solid understanding of Software Development principles and RESTful APIs
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • Experience in LMS development or the education technology domain is a plus
