Database Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Architect with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining database solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading database projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring database systems meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement database architecture designs for scalability, performance, and security.
  • Design, create, and maintain database schemas, stored procedures, views, and functions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure database design aligns with application architecture.
  • Perform database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Monitor and maintain database security, integrity, and data quality.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong experience with database management systems (Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and above preferred).
  • Proficiency in database design, development, and administration.
  • Expertise in writing and debugging complex T-SQL scripts.
  • Experience in performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts, normalization, and indexing strategies.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Education:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
