US Accounting and Taxation Expert

We are seeking highly skilled Chartered Accountants or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountants with 3 years of articleship experience to join our team in US Accounting or US Taxation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform bookkeeping and monthly closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, bank reconciliations, and general ledger reviews, adhering to US GAAP standards.
  • Assist in accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash flow management, utilizing tools like QuickBooks, Xero, and NetSuite.

For US Taxation Roles:

  • Assist in the preparation and review of US tax returns, including Individual – 1040, Corporate – 1120, Partnership – 1065, etc.
  • Conduct tax research and support compliance with IRS and state tax laws, staying up-to-date on regulatory changes.
  • Support clients during tax audits and filings, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
  • Work on tax planning strategies under supervision, providing expert advice and guidance.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant or Semi-Qualified CA (with minimum 3 years of articleship).
  • Strong accounting fundamentals, including finalisation of accounts, reconciliations, and compliance.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to US Accounting and Taxation standards, demonstrating a growth mindset.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Familiarity with tools like MS Excel; experience with accounting/tax software is a plus.
