Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance and be proficient in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.

The successful candidate will design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts, and identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tracking tools like JIRA and Bugzilla.

In this role, you will also perform regression, functional, integration, performance, and usability testing, and set up and maintain automation frameworks for continuous testing and CI/CD pipelines.

A strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and version control systems is essential.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proactive, and stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies for quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tracking tools
  • Develops testing documents such as STD, STR, SDD, SRS
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, performance, and usability testing
  • Set up and maintain automation frameworks for continuous testing and CI/CD pipelines
  • Create and execute appropriate test strategies and processes that align with business objectives and project timelines
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, tools, and technologies for quality assurance

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience 3–5 years as a QA Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit
  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language - Java, Python, JavaScript
  • Experience with version control systems e.g., Git and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
  • Experience with API testing - Postman, RestAssured
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools - JMeter, LoadRunner
  • Exposure to cloud environments AWS, Azure, GCP and containerised applications Docker, Kubernetes

Qualifications and Certification:

  • B.E / B.tech / MCA
  • Certification in QA testing will be an advantage
