About Our Role

We are seeking an experienced data professional to design and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks (PySpark/Scala). As a key member of our team, you will develop and deploy event-driven data processing solutions using Azure Function Apps.

Your responsibilities will include optimising Spark jobs for performance and cost-efficiency, implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps for Databricks notebooks and Function Apps.

You will integrate Databricks with other Azure services like Data Lake Storage, Synapse, Event Hubs, Key Vault, etc. Your collaboration with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders will ensure the delivery of high-quality data solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks (PySpark/Scala).
  • Develop and deploy event-driven data processing solutions using Azure Function Apps.
  • Integrate Databricks with other Azure services like Data Lake Storage, Synapse, Event Hubs, Key Vault, etc.
  • Optimise Spark jobs for performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for Databricks notebooks and Function Apps.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
