Job Title: Microsoft Fabric Lead

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Lead to spearhead our data solutions team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable and secure data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services. They will be responsible for leading a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts in delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 9-12 years of experience in data engineering with 5+ years' experience in Azure Data Platform (ADF, Databricks, Synapse)
  • At least 1 year of experience in MS Fabric projects
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance
Benefits:

This is a contract position for 6 months with the possibility of extension. The rate for this position is $16 per hour, and it includes remote work opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Solution Architecture: Design and oversee the architecture of Microsoft Fabric solutions, including integration with Power BI, Synapse, Data Factory, and other Azure services.
  2. Leadership: Lead a team of data engineers, BI developers, and analysts in delivering scalable and secure data solutions.
  3. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and ensure timely delivery.
  4. Innovation: Stay up to date with Microsoft Fabric features, updates, and industry trends to recommend improvements.
  5. Data Strategy: Define and implement data ingestion, transformation, and storage strategies leveraging Lakehouses, Data Warehouses, and Real-Time Analytics.
  6. Governance: Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks within Microsoft Fabric.
  7. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data pipelines and queries for performance and cost efficiency.
