Job Title: Cloud Platform Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure using Terraform
  • Automate configuration management using Ansible or similar tools
  • Monitor and optimize system performance using DataDog or similar visibility platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of applications
  • Continuously explore and implement new tools and practices to enhance DevOps processes and improve overall system reliability and performance

Requirements:

  • Excellent understanding of cloud principles and services, with experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform and IaC concepts, with experience in Terraform Cloud or similar
  • Familiarity with Ansible or other CM tools for configuration management and automation
  • Experience with DataDog or other visibility platforms for monitoring and optimizing system performance
  • Solid foundation in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest Cloud Platform tools and practices
