About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to lead our Cloud Center of Excellence environment using AWS technologies.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve AWS service issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Manage AWS services to ensure system availability meets project requirements.
  • Design, build, and deploy cloud solutions using various cloud services and platforms (AWS).
  • Provide technical expertise on cloud adoption, migration, and optimization.
  • Develop scripts to automate systems administration and monitoring activities.
  • Support AWS-related issues, monitor solutions, and implement strategies to eliminate performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and product teams on AWS design and architecture and assist with Proof-of-Concept development and testing.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, AWS SysOps Administrator Certification, Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or equivalent AWS Cloud Engineering/Architecture experience.

Required Skills:

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, AWS SysOps Administrator Certification, Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or equivalent AWS Cloud Engineering/Architecture experience.
  • 3+ years of AWS administration experience, including API Gateway, S3, ECS, EKS, Fargate, EC2, Lambda, WAF, and CloudTrail.
  • 3+ years deploying Infrastructure as Code using tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
  • Experience on cloud architecture patterns, design principles, and best practices.
  • Working experience of networking concepts (routing, switching, firewalls, etc.).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and root cause-analysis skills.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux server technologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in an outsourced/managed services environment with some client-facing responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with WebLogic or equivalent application server platforms.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian (Gerrit, Confluence, Artifactory, Jenkins) and other DevOps tools.
