Senior Production Support Specialist for Capital Markets

Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Production Support Specialist to join our team and support the Capital Markets business. This role requires a high level of expertise in providing hands-on support to business users directly, with a focus on issue resolution and ensuring seamless operations.

Experience:

The ideal candidate will have at least 9 to 12 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in SQL/Unix and proficiency in VB/Powerquery/Python. Experience with monitoring/job scheduling tools like Control-M and familiarity with ServiceNow or similar tools is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Production Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  1. Providing expert-level support to business users, resolving complex issues promptly and efficiently.
  2. Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and identify areas for process improvement.
  3. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  4. Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement new processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 9 to 12 years of experience in production support, preferably in a Capital Markets environment.
  • Strong expertise in SQL/Unix, with experience in scripting languages like VB/Powerquery/Python.
  • Proficiency in monitoring/job scheduling tools like Control-M.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar tool.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
