About the Role

We're seeking a creative and highly skilled Product Packaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you'll play a crucial role in crafting unique solutions that resonate with our brand values. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with project managers and product development teams to drive the design process forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Closely work with cross-functional teams to break down design briefs and plan the end-to-end design and innovation process.
  • Develop innovative designs for new products, physical and print collateral, and customer journeys from discovery to usage.
  • Apply research methodologies, build deeper insights about customer behavior, and deliver thoughtful and innovative designs.
  • Analyze materials, specifications, structures, and recommend feasible solutions for products and packaging.
  • Track project timelines, create action plans, and ensure timely execution.
  • Continuously iterate and improve on designs while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Stay updated with marketing, packaging, and industry trends to ensure Nua's designs remain relevant.
  • Be original, experimental, and open-minded in your approach.
  • Promote design thinking across various teams and organize brainstorm sessions to foster creativity.
  • Review artworks at different stages, including bromide approvals, and take ownership of the design process.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience in industrial design, visual communication, packaging design, or multi-disciplinary design.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field.
  • A portfolio demonstrating application of visual design, packaging design, product/industrial design, and brand identity design.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment is desirable.
  • Solid knowledge of core design software (Adobe suite, Corel Draw).
  • Familiarity with prototyping methods and product development techniques.
  • Detail-oriented, critical thinker, and customer-centric.
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, and a team player.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in design.
