As a key member of our team, you will lead the development of power electronics systems, including DC-DC converters, onboard chargers (OBC), inverters, and battery management interfaces.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop system architecture and component specifications for high-voltage (400V–800V) battery systems to ensure seamless integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, thermal, and systems engineering, to guarantee efficient collaboration.
  • Oversight of simulation, modelling, and analysis of power electronics circuits using tools like PLECS, MATLAB/Simulink, or LTspice.
  • Ensure PCB layout for high-power designs meets EMI/EMC compliance and thermal management requirements.
  • Validate and test prototypes in lab and vehicle environments to guarantee product quality.
  • Evaluate and select components such as IGBTs, SiC/GaN FETs, gate drivers, magnetics, and capacitors to meet project needs.
  • Maintain compliance with automotive standards, including ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, and functional safety protocols.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical reviews and design documentation to foster knowledge sharing.
  • Serve as the point of authority for complex engineering problems and provide expert guidance.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Possess genuine passion for understanding complex power electronic systems and collaborate effectively with teams.
  • Demonstrate experience with agile methods and toolsets, such as JIRA, SCRUM, and KANBAN.
  • Show expertise in vehicle system interfaces and integration for distributed features onboard.
  • Exhibit extensive experience in HV Product Development for EV, System Engineering, and product development life cycles.
  • Display expertise in Design, development, integration, and validation of electrical systems into vehicle architectures.
  • Good engineering knowledge of various vehicle subsystems, such as Powertrain, Chassis, Body, Security, Infotainment, Diagnostics, Electrical systems ECUs, design, performance, production, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Strong issue resolution, change management, and supplier management skills during vehicle development.
  • Hands-on experience in CAN tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, DET) is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent understanding of OEM and Engineering Services processes.
  • Familiarity with requirement management tools, DOORS, SYSML/UML, Mantis, CodeBeamer, or other.
  • Excellent leadership, initiative, and drive to succeed.
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP networks, including switching and routing, is a plus.
  • Significant experience in using engineering tools, FMEA, DFM, DFA, Six Sigma, problem resolution, etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent discipline or experience.
