Power Electronics Engineer II Role

As a seasoned electronics specialist with 6-8 years of hands-on experience, you will design, develop and test power systems for lithium-ion batteries in unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) or electric vehicle (EV) applications.

Solutions may include converters (AC-DC, DC-DC), inverters and power supplies that ensure seamless integration with charging solutions and lithium-ion battery management systems (BMS).

To be successful in this role, you must build prototypes of power electronics circuits and systems, validating them through thorough testing in real-world scenarios.

Fault diagnostics, troubleshooting and root cause analysis on power electronics systems are also key aspects of this position.

In addition to the above tasks, you will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes that enhance efficiency and productivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and testing power electronic systems;
  • Strong knowledge of power electronics components, including converters, inverters, and power supplies;
  • Ability to work with lithium-ion battery management systems (BMS);
  • Experience with fault diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently;
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills;
