Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute compelling communication strategies and narratives for political, policy, and election campaigns.
  • Oversight of digital advertising strategy and execution using analytics to optimize performance and ROI.
  • Building and leading a team of creators to produce engaging and platform-native content.
  • Driving subscriber growth and viewership by optimizing videos for the algorithm and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Diving deep into analytics to understand audience retention and traffic sources.
  • Staying ahead of trends and experimenting with new formats.
  • Identifying and building relationships with relevant creators to collaborate on projects.
  • Developing and supporting crisis communication plans as needed.
  • Collaborating effectively with internal teams, external agencies, and other stakeholders.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of Indian politics, history, socio-economic issues, and current affairs.
  • 8-10 years in communications, video production, or channel management with demonstrable success in growing and managing a significant YouTube channel.
  • Expertise in the YouTube algorithm, content strategy, and SEO.
  • Able to craft compelling narratives for video and manage production workflows.
  • Familiarity with Analytics Tools such as Studio.
