Senior Network Engineer

This is a senior-level position that requires a high degree of technical expertise and leadership skills. As a senior network engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex network infrastructure solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement WAN, LAN, and WLAN solutions on a multi-vendor network
  • Create and maintain documentation for network implementations
  • Support and coach other engineers to provide high-quality services and solutions
  • Lead and assist in defining the strategy needed to deliver complex projects
  • Manage deliverables on complex customer design and implementation projects
  • Perform advanced analysis on complex incidents and act as escalation engineer
  • Fulfill fourth-level support for Operations as part of the Incident and Problem Management Process
  • Develop processes for other engineers to follow in order to successfully deliver solutions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Two or more technical certifications at associate or professional levels related to VZ Product portfolio areas
  • Technical knowledge and experience to Juniper JNCIP or JNCIE level with focus on WAN, LAN, WLAN
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Aruba Central, Aruba switches, and Aruba WLAN highly beneficial
  • Technical knowledge and experience with Mist dashboard and WLAN also highly beneficial
  • Technical knowledge and experience to Cisco CCNP or CCIE level on WAN and LAN beneficial
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience:
  • 8 or more years' technical experience in design and implementation of large-scale customer networks
  • Experience within telecommunications organizations or international companies would be beneficial
  • Experience and affinity with working in a multicultural work environment and international company with various time zones
  • Ability to give guidance and coaching to other engineers at a technical level
