We are currently seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our ETL development efforts. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our data management systems.

About the Role

As the lead developer, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing a scalable data lake platform that meets the needs of our business.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and recommend cutting-edge big data technologies to balance business needs with cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement a data lake platform that meets our strategic objectives.
  • Maintain the overall solution architecture for the data lake platform, ensuring it remains scalable and secure.
  • Establish technical best practices for big data management and solutions, from technology selection to implementation.
  • Ensure all components of the data lake platform meet our service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Lead technical investigations, proof-of-concepts, and hands-on coding to provide recommendations.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical and professional skills.
About You
  • You must have at least 5+ years of experience in building ETL pipelines and proficiency in PySpark.
  • Proficiency in Python 3 and experience with Databricks and Apache Spark are essential.
  • Strong SQL and non-SQL database skills are required.
  • A passion for code and software architecture is essential.
