Automation Framework Developer

We are seeking a skilled Automation Framework Developer to join our team at TEKsystems. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional with 6-10 years of IT experience.
About the Role:
In this role, you will develop and enhance automation frameworks and scripts, leveraging your expertise in Selenium or other automation tools. You will work closely with our team to ensure quality in each release, participate in release management processes, and collaborate on issue management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, write, and execute automated tests using your technical skills and strong scripting language abilities.
- Develop and enhance automation frameworks and scripts, ensuring seamless integration with Jenkins.
- Participate in release management processes, collaborating with the team to ensure quality in each release.
- Log issues according to our issue management process in defect management tools.
- Clearly understand business requirements and identify use cases for writing functional and persona-based test cases.
- Strong experience in writing test strategy, test plans, test cases, and reporting defects.
Requirements:
- Masters/Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in any automation tool preferably Selenium.
- Good understanding of various testing methodologies and agile methodologies.
- Good communication skills, thought process & Analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of database and ability to write scripts to retrieve data.
- Exhibit good functional/domain understanding of the current project.
Bonus Points:
- Past experience with POCs on automation, macros, and HCM domain knowledge.
