Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our team in conducting thorough audits under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). This key role involves collaborating with clients across the globe to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.

  • Lead or support complex IFRS-based audits for clients in the Brokers, Forex, and Financial Instruments industries.
  • Analyze financial statements and disclosures to guarantee adherence to IFRS and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with client finance teams and other stakeholders to gather audit evidence and documentation.
  • Evaluate internal controls, identify audit risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, findings, and recommendations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this challenging role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in IFRS audits, preferably in a Big 4 or top-tier audit firm.
  • Prior audit experience with Brokers, Forex companies, or firms dealing with complex financial instruments is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and their application in financial services is required.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills in English are necessary.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, client-facing environment is crucial.
Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications would be advantageous:

  • Any graduate degree in a related field.
  • CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification would be an asset.
  • Experience working with European clients or familiarity with European financial regulations is beneficial.
