Regulatory Compliance Specialist

This role involves meticulous planning and execution of certification and compliance activities with respect to various national and international regulations.

  • Strong Foundation in Aeronautics, Mechanics and Electronics.

  • Documentation Skills and Record Keeping. The ability to communicate complex ideas verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gain a thorough understanding of the Products, test requirements; Develop requirement proposals and execution plans along with timeline requirements.
  • Analyze and understand Tender Documents, Scheme Documents, Compliance Standards, Drone Rules and develop test requirements proposal & obtain agreements with internal stakeholders.
  • Evaluate correct TC documentation, tests executions, TC audits and cooperation with Certification Bodies for expeditious releases of SoCs
  • Work with external stakeholders like Certification Bodies / Test Agencies, DGCA and QCI to make them understand the Product environment and compliances.
  • Effective communications & collaborations with Certification Bodies, DGCA, QCI, CEMILAC, DFI, BIS etc.
  • Timely review of regulatory drafts & feedbacks in the interest of IdeaForge. Study and analysis of international regulations and preparation of presentations & compliance roadmaps.
  • Creation & maintenance of Certification roadmap in cooperation with Product management and Strict adherence in execution
  • Planning & execution of periodic internal audits to identify /analyze the compliance risks & implement mitigation measures with respective departments.
  • Budgetary Planning for all departmental activities.
  • Team Management, KRAs and Appraisals.

This is a senior-level engineering role that requires exceptional understanding and hands-on experience working with regulatory frameworks – National/International. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in Technical Compliances, with at least 5 years in UAS industry.

A strong academic background in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
