Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to execute test cases, identify bugs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Planning & Design: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
  • Test Execution: Perform manual testing across various platforms and devices, document results, and track defects in a timely manner.
  • Defect Management: Identify, report, and track defects using our bug tracking system, working closely with developers to facilitate the resolution of identified issues.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide feedback on usability and functionality.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect logs, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Regression Testing: Conduct regression tests to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree: In Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience: In manual testing, preferably in a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding: Of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency: In writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and defect reports.
  • Familiarity: With bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills: And strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
