We are seeking an accomplished US Tax Manager to lead our tax planning strategies and manage a team of tax professionals. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, supervising tax staff, and providing guidance and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and review complex US federal and state tax returns (Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1041) with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor tax staff, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure the success of the team.
  • Tax Planning Strategies: Lead tax planning strategies for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and estates, utilizing your expertise in US tax law and regulations.
  • Research and Solutions: Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide innovative solutions to clients.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with IRS and state tax regulations, maintaining a high level of technical expertise.
  • Clients Communication: Communicate directly with clients, building strong professional relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with senior leadership on client service strategies and business growth initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional Certifications: CPA or EA (mandatory)
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Experience: 10+ years of US taxation experience, with strong technical expertise in 1040, 1065, 1120, and estate/trust returns
  • Leadership Experience: Prior experience managing and mentoring teams
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and US tax law
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency with US tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, UltraTax, or equivalent)
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and client management skills
