Job Description

As a highly experienced VFX Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the artistic and technical abilities of our in-house artists. Your expertise in Houdini software and VFX workflows will be instrumental in delivering high-quality results for clients.

  • Provide comprehensive training on Houdini Software, covering basic to advanced topics in an engaging and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Focus on teaching RBD Fracture Simulation, Cloth Simulation, Water Simulation, Fire Simulation, Crowd Simulation, Grain Simulation, and Plant Instance Simulation.
  • Guide artists in achieving convincing results through Lookdev, emphasizing the importance of creative vision.
  • Ensure seamless integration between Houdini and Autodesk Maya or Blender, or vice versa, by providing effective solutions.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a VFX Supervisor in film, animation, or TV series.
  • Extensive knowledge of the overall VFX workflow and production process.
  • In-depth understanding of compositing principles, preferably with Nuke.
  • Basic knowledge of the Blender workflow is beneficial.
  • A portfolio showcasing exceptional skills and creativity.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a focus on artistic growth.
  • Proficiency in English language communication.
