UAV Systems Design Specialist

Join our company as a skilled UAV design engineer to lead the conceptual and detailed design of fixed-wing and/or VTOL UAV platforms from concept through to prototype and production. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for contributing to the design of UAV airframes and subsystems.

The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of aerodynamics, flight mechanics, and structural design. Proficiency in CAD software is also essential. Experience with composite materials and UAV fabrication techniques is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings.
  • Conduct structural and thermal analysis to validate design performance.
  • Work with electronics, propulsion, and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Perform aerodynamic analysis and optimization of UAV configurations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in UAV or aircraft design.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience designing VTOL UAV platforms.
  • Familiarity with autopilot systems and avionics integration.
  • Knowledge of electric propulsion systems and battery technologies.
