Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the documented release process is consistently applied across all Salesforce orgs (15-20) for maximum efficiency and scalability.
  • Oversee DevOps practices using GitHub for the core European model, handling code deployment from the central core to local orgs.
  • Coordinate with local providers managing certain orgs to maintain seamless integration and adherence to the core model.
  • Provide training to team members on following the release process, ensuring understanding and smooth execution.
  • Assist in setting up a Center of Excellence (CoE) for Salesforce DevOps, providing best practices, guidelines, and training.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and improvement.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and provide regular performance reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's is a plus).
  • Minimum 5 years in DevOps, CI/CD, and release management.
  • Experience managing DevOps with GitHub, including branching, merging, and version control.
  • Salesforce environment deployment experience preferred.
  • Proficient in GitHub and version control systems.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DX and deployment tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership abilities to mentor team members and partners.
