Quality Assurance Specialist Job Description

Potential Engineering is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to oversee product and service quality by developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures. This full-time role involves ensuring continuous improvement through quality audits, inspections, and issue identification.

  • Document management of quality protocols and specifications.
  • Monitoring and analyzing quality performance data.
  • Inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products for quality standards compliance.
  • Collaborating with operational teams to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety regulations in workflows and processes.
  • Investigating production or product issues.
  • Developing corrective actions and solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in quality engineering or assurance/control, with knowledge of 7 QC tools and ISO standards. Familiarity with oil & gas processes is beneficial, as well as strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Protocol Management: Developing, maintaining, and revising quality protocols and specifications.
  • Quality Performance Analysis: Monitoring and analyzing quality performance metrics and trends.
  • Process Improvements: Collaborating with operational teams to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Product and Service Quality Control: Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products for quality standards compliance.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to relevant safety and quality regulations in workflows and processes.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigating production or product issues and developing corrective actions and solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in quality engineering or assurance/control.
  • Knowledge of 7 QC tools and ISO standards.
  • Familiarity with oil & gas processes.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills.
