Manufacturing Process Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting detailed analysis and evaluation of existing manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Process Optimization: Design and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time and improve product quality.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with Industrial Engineering, Production and Quality assurance teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Process Monitoring: Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, such as cycle time, yield and scrap rate and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
- Quality Control: Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
- Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process-related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Process Validation: Lead process validation activities, including protocol development, execution and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to production teams on processes, procedures and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.
In addition to these key responsibilities, the ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. mechanical engineering, industrial engineering)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering or a related field
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
