Job Title:

Integrations Engineer


Our company is revolutionizing the hospitality industry with its award-winning, AI-powered revenue management platform. Our platform offers integrated solutions for dynamic pricing, digital marketing, and booking engines—all in one platform.

The role of Integrations Engineer will be responsible for integrating software systems, developing software solutions, troubleshooting issues, implementing continuous integration processes, and working with embedded software. Day-to-day tasks will include collaborating with the product team, ensuring seamless software operations, and enhancing system performance.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain integrations with various Property Management Systems (PMS) and third-party platforms.
  • Develop and optimize our integration pipeline, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Understand the nuances of downstream systems and architect scalable integration solutions.
  • Engage with PMS partners to identify and implement new features and updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Continuously improve our backend infrastructure, automate tasks, and set best practices for integrations.
  • Monitor and track the daily status of integrations, proactively identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Integrations Engineer who possesses:
  • 4+ years of experience in backend web development.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and experience working with NestJS or similar backend frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming and its various paradigms.
  • Strong understanding of automated testing at every level (unit, integration and end-to-end).
  • Strong understanding of API development, including RESTful APIs and SOAP XML.
  • Experience working with message queues and understanding of pub-sub architectures in distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with databases and ORM frameworks for efficient data management.
  • Proficiency with Git and development tools such as Visual Studio Code (or any preferred IDE).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to test and validate code before deployment.
  • Experience with integrating third-party systems and optimizing data flow between platforms.

Nice to Have:

While not required, having experience in the following areas would be beneficial:
  • Experience in frontend development using React or other similar frameworks.
  • Experience working in the hospitality tech industry or with PMS integrations.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and infrastructure automation.
