Experienced Cost Estimator Needed

We seek a highly skilled professional with extensive knowledge of MEP and electrical systems to join our organization as a key cost estimator.

About the Role
  • Assess and estimate project costs for Design, Build, and General Contracting projects based on drawings, requirements, and BOQs.
  • Perform detailed quantity take-offs using AutoCAD COST X for corporate interior projects.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure cost estimates align with desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately assess and estimate project costs for Design, Build, and General Contracting projects based on drawings, requirements, and BOQs.
  • Perform detailed quantity take-offs using AutoCAD COST X for corporate interior projects.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure cost estimates align with desired outcomes.
  • Maintain comprehensive executed project cost data at various levels for cost benchmarking purposes.
  • Conduct value engineering, cost variation analysis, and rate analysis as per project requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and labor costs to ensure accurate estimations.
  • Formulate and standardize BOQs and Cost Formats for various project types.
  • Align cost estimation practices with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 4-5 years of proven demonstrated experience in corporate interior projects with a strong focus on Design, Build, and General Contracting projects.
  • Expert level costing knowledge required in minimum two areas among Electrical, lighting systems, HVAC, BMS System, Safety, Security Services, UPS, and Networking.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimations.
  • Experience with Cost X tool is highly advantageous.
