Instrumentation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Design Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all Instrumentation Functions and will have a strong background in Oil & Gas Industry with 8+ years' relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Assistance: Sending RFQs, evaluating offers, deciding on costs, negotiation as required.
  • Engineering & Vendor Document Review: pre-award and post-award of projects
  • Monitoring & Expediting Instrumentation Work: Detail Engineering, Site Engineering
  • Involve in tendering: carrying out detail engineering, finding instrumentation scope, providing total instrumentation cost for the tender, negotiating with vendors to precise the cost to win tenders.
  • During Tendering stage: floating of enquiries, technical and commercial bid evaluation after getting quotations, negotiation of offers technically and commercially. Preparing complete SOR for Pipeline/Plant Project for Domestic & International bidding.
  • Post Award of Project: Co-coordination with Vendor/ Client to fulfill certification requirements as per project, coordination with Vendor for document submission for ordered instrumentation review of documents & giving Technical Clearance, taking responsibility till manufacturing clearance of Instruments.
  • Co-ordinating with Site for Progress/Completion of Instrumentation work & resolving technical queries.
  • Review of Detail Engineering document & Vendor documents & raising technical query.
  • Preparation of Instrumentation deliverable Documents (MR, Technical Queries, TBA, Vendor Documents Review & approval, Hooks up Drawings). Preparation of Erection & Installation Tender.
  • Vender development for Domestic & International project for Instrumentation & Telecommunication pre-bid & post-bid to get Techno-commercial offer.
  • Telecommunication Package providing cost for the telecommunication package during tender stage. For providing the cost reviewing of tender documents, finding the scope, floating enquiring, getting cost and provide all the cost to tender department for Pipeline & Plant project domestically and internationally.
  • After award of Job Taking responsibility of review of telecommunication scope, preparation of RFQ/ review /approval of documents until manufacturing clearance.
