Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Material Planner to manage our supply chain operations.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic planning and execution of material procurement activities, ensuring efficient inventory levels and on-time delivery to meet operational requirements.
  • This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, Logistics, and Production.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement core process models for material planning and master data accuracy
  • Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for supplier performance and material coverage
  • Collaborate with Procurement to manage risk and optimize supplier selection
  • Lead supplier escalation processes and develop performance improvement plans
  • Oversee team competencies and performance management
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering (BE or B Tech)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Material Planning/Procurement
  • Knowledge of SAP – MM Module
  • Familiarity with supplier management and performance metrics
  • Certification in Lean Management or similar
