About the Role

This is a key leadership position that oversees procurement, logistics and international trade operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing import of raw materials and export of finished goods ensuring efficiency.

  • The ideal candidate should have expertise in global sourcing, customs regulations, supply chain optimization and cost control.
  • Key responsibilities include developing procurement strategies for sourcing raw materials from domestic and international suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers, monitoring market trends and geopolitical risks to develop risk mitigation strategies.

Import & Export Management:

  • The role requires overseeing the end-to-end import process including customs clearance and cost-effective transportation, managing all export logistics ensuring compliance with international trade laws and regulations.
  • The candidate should optimize freight and shipping strategies to minimize costs and improve efficiency.

Logistics & Distribution:

  • Managing inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring smooth transportation of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Overseeing warehouse and inventory management to optimize stock levels and reduce holding costs.

Supply Chain Planning & Inventory Management:

  • Developing supply chain strategies aligned with business growth and production needs.
  • Ensuring accurate demand forecasting to maintain optimal inventory levels.

Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensuring adherence to international trade laws, customs regulations and industry standards.
  • Developing risk mitigation strategies for supply chain disruptions, currency fluctuations and trade barriers.

Culture and Leadership:

  • Fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency and innovation within the supply chain function.
  • Building and leading a high-performing supply chain team including procurement, logistics and compliance professionals.
