Finance Leader

This is our senior-most hire in finance. You'll oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and day-to-day financial management.

  • Own and execute all financial activities such as payroll processing, vendor payments, and collections.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including Provident Fund (PF), Professional Tax (PT), and Goods and Services Tax (GST).
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating closely with department heads.
  • Oversee cash flow and optimize working capital.
  • Build relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, banks, and auditors.
  • Support fundraising efforts by developing investor presentations and financial projections.
  • Establish and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.
  • Enhance operational efficiency by monitoring costing activities and identifying cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in finance controllership, accounting, or a related field.
  • Enthusiasm for building the finance function from scratch for a scaling SaaS company.
  • Flexibility to adapt to uncertainty and be a generalist.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
