Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to lead the implementation of infrastructure via code and provide strategic advice/recommendations for the development and advancement of Microsoft Azure technologies.

  • This role requires a strong understanding of cloud computing principles, experience with Azure services, and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure solutions, as well as providing technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
  • A key focus of this role is to ensure the secure and efficient delivery of cloud-based services, including the integration of security controls and monitoring tools.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as computer science or information technology, with relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience working as a data engineer on Azure Cloud, with a strong understanding of data processing and analytics concepts.
  • Proficiency in using DevOps practices and tools, such as Terraform and Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies and methodologies.
