Lead Network Architect

This is a leadership role that requires expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network architectures. As a Lead Network Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing network strategies that align with the company's business goals.

  • Lead a team of network engineers, providing guidance on best practices, troubleshooting, and professional development.
  • Develop and implement network architecture strategies, including design, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Manage and troubleshoot SD-WAN gateways, firewalls, and load balancers, with expertise in Palo Alto Panorama.
  • Expertise in DHCP, DNS, and wireless infrastructure (WAPs, controllers), with a focus on high-availability solutions.
  • Oversee network automation initiatives, including scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.), to optimize network performance and reduce manual tasks.
  • Lead Cisco CUCM administration, including configuration and management of VoIP phones.
  • Expertise in network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds (NPM, NCM, NTA, NAM) for monitoring, automation, and management of network operations.
  • Oversee Asset, Change, and Incident Management in line with ITIL practices.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of network engineering experience, with 3+ years in a leadership or senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of SD-WAN, firewall, and load balancing technologies.
  • Experience with network automation tools (Python, Ansible, etc.) for large-scale deployments.
  • Deep understanding of IT security principles (firewalls, VPNs, zero-trust networking) and compliance frameworks (SOC, PCI, GDPR).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
