Chief Technical Officer – Build a foundational AI product solving real operational problems in healthcare

Remote | Full-time

What you'll do

  • Own the architecture and development of our agentic AI platform, driving technical execution across short-term priorities and long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Design scalable, reliable backend infrastructure that powers automation workflows.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing, distributed engineering team to achieve business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver into real-world hospital environments.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in backend, platform, or systems engineering, preferably with Python or comparable backend languages in production environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master's preferred or equivalent real-world experience).
  • Deep understanding of designing and scaling complex systems and APIs.
  • Proven track record of leading engineering teams or projects with high accountability and ownership.
  • Familiarity with data pipelines, distributed systems, and workflow orchestration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make architecture decisions under ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
