Financial Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to enhance our financial performance, guarantee compliance, and provide data-driven decision-making support. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial discipline, preparing accurate statements, and supporting leadership with insights to drive business growth.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts receivables & payables, vendor payments, and reconciliations to ensure seamless financial transactions.
  • Oversee day-to-day book-keeping and accounting entries to maintain financial accuracy and transparency.
  • Monitor cash flows and working capital requirements to optimize financial performance.
Compliance and Taxation
  • Handle GST filing, TDS, and other statutory compliances on a timely basis to avoid penalties and fines.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and coordinate with auditors to maintain a clean audit record.
  • Maintain proper documentation for tax and legal audits to facilitate smooth financial operations.
Financial Reporting and MIS
  • Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial dashboards for management review to track financial performance.
  • Assist in preparing P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to provide a comprehensive view of financial health.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to make informed business decisions.
Internal Controls and Process Improvement
  • Implement and strengthen financial controls and accounting systems to prevent financial irregularities.
  • Identify areas for efficiency improvement and cost optimization to reduce financial burdens.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy in operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, or CA/Inter CA/MBA (Finance) from a reputable institution.
  • 4–5 years of finance experience in a similar role (preferably with startups, FMCG, or D2C brands).
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliances to navigate complex financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Tally/Zoho/QuickBooks, or other accounting software to manage financial data effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail to identify financial discrepancies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to collaborate with stakeholders and resolve financial issues efficiently.
