Job Description:

As a Content & Copy Lead, you will play a pivotal role in our content creation efforts, driving the development of high-quality written content across various platforms. You will lead a team of content writers, guiding them to produce engaging, informative, and on-brand content that resonates with our target audience. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with exceptional writing skills, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Strategy Development:

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with business goals and target audience needs.

Conduct thorough research to identify industry trends, topics of interest, and competitive insights to inform content planning.

  1. Content Creation and Editing:

Write and edit compelling content for various channels including website, blog posts, social media, email campaigns, and more.

Ensure all content is well-researched, accurate, and optimized for SEO to maximize reach and engagement.

  1. Team Leadership and Management:

Lead a team of content writers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them reach their full potential.

Delegate tasks effectively, manage workloads, and ensure deadlines are met consistently.

  1. Quality Assurance:

Implement processes and standards to maintain the quality and consistency of content produced by the team.

Conduct regular reviews and audits of content to ensure it meets brand guidelines, style standards, and editorial policies.

  1. Performance Analysis and Optimization:

Monitor content performance metrics and analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Use data-driven insights to refine content strategies, messaging, and distribution channels.

  1. Cross-functional Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with other teams such as marketing, design, and product to support integrated marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Ensure content aligns with overall brand messaging and reflects the company's values and voice.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field (Preferred).
  • Proven experience (5 years) in content creation, with a portfolio demonstrating strong writing and editing skills.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a content or editorial team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and inspire a team.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital publishing platforms.
  • A creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
