About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to lead our finance team.
- Accounting Operations
Manage and oversee all daily accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and inventory accounting.
GST ExpertiseServe as the subject matter expert on all GST-related matters. Ensure accurate and timely filing of all GST returns, handle reconciliations, and manage any GST audits or queries.
Financial ReportingLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes. Prepare and present accurate financial statements and management reports in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
Audit and ComplianceAct as the primary point of contact for statutory and internal auditors. Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Team LeadershipMentor, guide, and develop the accounting team to foster a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience
A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, specifically within a private limited manufacturing company in India.
EducationBachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance. A professional certification (CA / CMA) is highly preferred.
Technical SkillsExpert-level, hands-on proficiency in SAP Business One (SAP B1). Strong proficiency in SQL is mandatory for developing reports and working on the SAP backend.
Functional SkillsDeep, practical expertise in Indian GST laws, including all aspects of filings, compliance, and reconciliations. Comprehensive knowledge of Ind AS, corporate law, and direct/indirect taxation.
