Job Title: Data Pipeline Engineer

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Pipeline Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines using Spark.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Snowflake, and Azure cloud services. They should be able to develop APIs using Flask and collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable pipelines to efficiently process and transform large datasets using Spark
  • Develop a robust framework for generating PDF reports using Python and Spark
  • Utilize Snowflake and Spark SQL to perform complex aggregations on high-volume data
  • Develop Stored Procedures, Views, Indexes, Triggers, and Functions in Snowflake Database to maintain data integrity and share with downstream applications in form of APIs

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a strong understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Proficiency in Python with experience in data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and Numpy
  • Experience with SQL, Snowflake, and Spark for data querying and aggregations
