Virtualization Expert Needed

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a Virtualization Expert. This role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions using VMware virtualization platforms and Windows Server environments.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and NSX, as well as experience with scripting (PowerShell, PowerCLI) for automation and reporting. They will also be proficient in backup and recovery tools (e.g., Veeam, Commvault) and familiar with ITIL processes and enterprise ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security across virtual and physical systems. They will work closely with the IT team to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet the business needs of the organization.

This is a full-time position requiring 8-10 years of experience in VMware and Windows Server administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in virtualization, Windows Server, and scripting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions using VMware virtualization platforms and Windows Server environments
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security across virtual and physical systems
  • Work closely with the IT team to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet the business needs of the organization
  • Implement scripting (PowerShell, PowerCLI) for automation and reporting
  • Use backup and recovery tools (e.g., Veeam, Commvault)
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DCV)
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • ITIL Foundation or Intermediate
