Job Description

The Fabric Optimization Specialist is responsible for bringing the customer offer to life through establishing direct mill partnerships with a focus on new raw materials. This role drives simplification, cost, lead time, and quality benefits for large volume value retailers.

The successful candidate will provide the design team with a new development toolkit to build into range.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to be at the forefront of fabric optimization and make a real impact on our business.

  • Fabric Optimization Specialist: This role involves working closely with suppliers to source and develop high-quality fabrics that meet our customers' needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in a textile or raw material role with a medium-large volume retail business
  • Strong knowledge of raw material supply chains, including cut & sew, woven, and denim fabrications
  • Demonstrated experience in supplier sourcing and relationship management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
