As a Backend Development Intern, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining APIs and backend services, writing clean, efficient Python code under guidance, working with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) to store and retrieve data, debugging and fixing issues in existing backend components, collaborating with senior developers in code reviews and testing, learning best practices for scalable and secure backend systems, and participating in agile ceremonies and team discussions to understand development workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain high-quality backend services.
  2. Write well-documented, efficient Python code that adheres to industry standards.
  3. Work closely with database administrators to design and implement optimal database solutions.
  4. Identify and resolve technical issues in existing backend components.
  5. Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in backend development.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with a good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL basics) and experience working with version control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning.

Note: Exceptional interns may be considered for full-time Backend roles based on performance and availability of open positions at the end of the internship.
