Job Title:
Compensation and Benefits ManagerA compensation and benefits manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of an organization's employee compensation and benefits.
Primary Responsibilities:- Ensure timely and accurate payment of employee salaries, wages, and other benefits.
- Maintain compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding compensation, benefits, and taxes.
- Supervise and train staff to ensure efficient operations in the compensation and benefits department.
- Oversee data related to employee information, attendance, leave records, and payroll.
- Conduct regular audits and reconcile discrepancies in payroll and benefits processing.
- Respond to employee inquiries and resolve issues related to compensation and benefits.
- Manage employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, time-off policies, and other perks.
- Ensure accurate tax withholding, filing, and reporting.
- Provide reports and analytics on compensation and benefits to management.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures in compensation and benefits.
- Maintain software and systems used for payroll and benefits processing.
- Coordinate year-end payroll and benefits processing.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits management.
- Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll and benefits software.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
