We are seeking skilled transcriptionists proficient in reading and typing in the Perso-Arabic Nastaliq script to join our project.

Project Overview

Audio recordings need to be transcribed into text using the Nastaliq script. Candidates must possess strong typing skills and excellent proficiency in Kashmiri (Perso-Arabic Nastaliq).

  • Language: Kashmiri (Perso-Arabic Nastaliq)
  • Task: Transcribe audio recordings into text
  • Assessment: A short assessment will be shared after initial screening
  • Location Preference: Candidates based in Kashmir
Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Native Kashmiri speaker (all dialects welcome)
  • Excellent typing skills in Perso-Arabic Nastaliq script
  • Prior transcription experience is a plus but not mandatory
