Job Summary

We're currently seeking an experienced Senior Legal Specialist to join our team and take on the responsibilities of overseeing all legal and recovery matters for the West Region in Tamil Nadu. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Legal & Recovery Matters: Oversee all legal and recovery activities for the West Region, ensuring timely and effective resolution of cases.
  2. SARFISE / DRT Filing Expertise: Develop and implement strategies for filing SARFISE / DRT petitions for high-volume cases, leveraging expertise in legal recovery processes.
  3. Court Proceedings and Hearing Attendance: Independently participate in court proceedings, attend hearings, and effectively represent the organization's interests.
  4. Recovery Strategies and Debt Restructuring: Formulate and execute plans for recovery through NCLT processes, debt restructuring, and sale of assets under Sarfaesi and DRT regulations.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with internal teams, coordinate efforts to achieve common goals, and ensure open communication across departments.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in legal and recovery roles
  • Strong knowledge of legal recovery processes, including SARFISE / DRT filings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Compensation Package

The compensation package includes a salary of ₹3-₹4 lakh per annum (approximately $40,000-$50,000 USD), commensurate with experience and qualifications. The exact figure will be discussed during the interview process.
