Job Title: Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Financial Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Document Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial documents, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Report Calculation/Verification: Calculate and verify reports provided by suppliers, then generate invoices and credit amounts for stores.
  • Sales Scan Reports: Run sales scan reports for head office and utilize data to generate invoices in Xero for suppliers.
  • Monthly Reconciliation: Conduct monthly statement and invoice reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks as needed, including record-keeping and file maintenance.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports using ZERO software.
  • Bookkeeping: Maintain precise bookkeeping records and perform regular file maintenance.
  • Invoice Management: Manage invoices from various departments and vendors to ensure timely payment and efficient cash flow.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent Communication: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical skills, mathematical skills, and well-organized professionalism to drive business success.
  • Time Management: Be punctual and able to work under pressure while meeting deadlines to achieve business goals.
  • Computer Skills: Possess proficiency in computer skills, particularly in MS Office, to efficiently manage tasks and projects.

Experience and Education: 5+ years of experience as a Financial Accountant and an MBA (Finance) degree required to excel in this role.
