Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned data engineer to spearhead the development of large-scale data pipelines and architectures in cloud environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, building, and optimizing scalable data solutions using various tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust data pipelines that cater to both operational and analytical workloads.
  • Develop and optimize ELT/ETL processes using AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Athena, and Step Functions.
  • Migrate legacy systems to cloud-native platforms, ensuring seamless scalability and resilience.

Cloud Development & DevOps (AWS-Focused)

  • Build and deploy cloud-native data solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines to ensure timely and efficient deployment of data products.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.

Collaboration & Innovation

  • Partner with product managers, analysts, and engineers to deliver end-to-end data-driven solutions.
  • Contribute to the data platform modernization roadmap and support new product delivery.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering or equivalent technical role.
  • 5+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud Development & DevOps experience.
  • Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (networking, security, cost optimization).

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
