Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to drive the development of cutting-edge projects in SME.

About the Role:
  • Design and develop innovative mechanical systems, products, and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Utilize CAD tools like Creo and SolidWorks for concept creation, detail design, and modeling.
  • Develop manufacturing processes and drawings using PDM/PLM tools and GD&T principles.
  • Contribute to new product development, electromechanical product design, and semiconductor product expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Concept creation, detail design, and modeling using CAD tools.
  • Handling large assemblies using simplified reps in Creo.
  • Manufacturing process knowledge (machined and sheetmetal components).
  • Giving solutions to new concept design.
  • BOM preparation, manufacturing drawings & drawing standard knowledge.
  • Procuring new parts.
  • Knowledge in semiconductor domain is an added advantage.
Skill Requirements:
  • NPD experience.
  • Electromechanical product design.
  • Experience in semiconductor products.
  • Sheet metal design, machined component design, and gas lines.
  • Extensive experience in Creo.
  • SAP, ECTR, Wind chill, or Teamcenter.
  • Good skills in 3D concept development, 2D development drawings.
  • GTD and Tolerance analysis.
  • Engineering change management.
  • Good understanding in manufacturing process and welding's.
  • Good understanding in Plating's, Coating and surface finish requirements.
  • BOM preparation, manufacturing drawings & drawing standard knowledge.
Preferred Skills:
  • Creo.
  • Semi domain.
  • SPM.
  • Hand calculation.
  • Unigraphics.
  • Inventor.
  • UG /NX.
  • AutoCAD.
  • Oracle BOM.
  • Oracle ECO.
