Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Strategist to lead the analysis and research for identifying new product opportunities in Emerging Markets. This role involves providing critical insights to support portfolio selection committee decisions and portfolio strategy planning, aligning with our growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities across therapies in the small molecules' space based on medical and marketing feasibility.
  • Analyze secondary market data to understand opportunities available across therapies.
  • Assess intellectual property landscapes of products across various patents globally.
  • Develop business cases for new products proposed for portfolio selection meetings.
  • Track market updates including label expansions, competition entry, safety warnings, quarterly sales for innovator brands, API suppliers, etc.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to remain abreast of market trends.
  • Identify new entry channels for the company through in-licensing and other opportunities to drive business growth.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Strong understanding of IP landscape in pharma across markets.
  • Good understanding of pharma regulatory requirements in US, EU, and Emerging markets.
  • Good understanding of formulation selection process, including medical uniqueness, commercial forecast, and fitment with technical capabilities.
  • Good understanding of forecasting, patient funneling, and pricing strategy.
  • Good understanding of data platforms such as IQVIA, Corelli's, IPD analytics, Global Data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy or Chemistry/ MBA (preferably from Tier I Institute/University).
  • 3-5 years of experience in portfolio, strategy, and/or IPM.
