Job Description

The primary role is to enhance our competitive position and performance by making immediate, direct contributions. Key responsibilities include developing scalable data pipelines, building out new API integrations, collaborating with analytics and business teams, implementing processes for monitoring data quality, and designing business processes.

This includes experience with big data technologies, understanding of data modeling concepts, designing and building data platforms integrating disparate data sources, and demonstrating hands-on experience implementing big data solutions using Microsoft Data Platform and Azure Data Services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and communication background, with proficiency in Azure cloud computing and experience working on data lake projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proficient with Azure cloud computing including big data technologies.
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts.
  • Experience designing and building data platforms integrating disparate data sources.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience implementing big data solutions using Microsoft Data Platform and Azure Data Services.
  • Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python/Scala, SQL, Spark-SQL.
