Job Title: Data Integration Specialist

Description:

  • Responsible for overseeing and managing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
  • Proficient in data warehousing concepts, ETL methodologies, and integration principles.
  • Manage platforms such as IBM DataStage, Talend, EMR, Airflow, Hue, and DataHub.
  • Experience with reporting tools like PowerBI, Tableau, Cognos, MicroStrategy, Sigma, and QlikView.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools like Sagemaker, aiOla, SparkBeyond, and Rstudio.
  • Perform performance optimization by monitoring job execution, system resource utilization, and troubleshooting bottlenecks.
  • Maintain environment health by managing DataStage projects, environments, user access, permissions, and project configurations.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills by diagnosing and resolving issues with DataStage jobs, server performance, and connectivity to data sources.
  • Awareness of security best practices, compliance with enterprise technology standards, and regulatory expectations.
  • Possess excellent communication and documentation skills to interact with users, other administrators, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talend platform installation, configuration, and support.
  • User and project management within the Talend Administration Center.
  • Platform license management, user authorizations, and project settings.
  • Setup and management of shared development environments and Git branches.
  • Enforcing platform governance and standards.
  • Deployment and execution of Talend jobs, routes, and services.
  • Monitoring job execution, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring successful runs.
  • Managing job scheduling and dependencies using Job Conductor.
  • Monitoring platform health, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
  • Utilizing AMC and Talend Log Server for monitoring and troubleshooting.
